hi Tom,

It takes about 1 minute to translate a beautifull Pirate, or
blue or red-guys flag into a perfect white one, without any
visible deformation.

Some knowledge about ABS and chemicals and voilá ...! And
you need inferior paint, exactly the type which is used with
Pirates-flags   :-)  Lego, shame on you for this one!

Hmmm, blank flag underneath, weird. Did blank flags come with any sets at
all? Or do I seem to have some genuine lego Pirate Flag Stickers (In which
case I'll stick 'em on my BSB as it's the ship that would've most likely had
'em)

The small blank flags came with a number of sets as cannon port covers, etc.
I don't know where the large blank ones came from but I bought a bunch of
them off brickbay not too long ago.  Someone should know!  Only thing I can
think of is that they must have come off some type of set.  I've never seen
a service pak that had any, but then I've never seen a set with one.
I assume that the stickers didn't come with a blank either as the only place
I can determine that they came from was a magazine or idea book.
