Ding!Ding!Ding!Ding! Correct! What do we have for him Johnny? I fell the
exact same way! I slowed down my Lego buying rate 300% that year because of
no more pirates. If it wasn't for the new aquazone and ninja that year, I
would've quit Lego all together.

Luckily I got ahold to those 1997 pirate sets. :)
Oh yah, and the same

Town was juniorized but not fright knights. The pieces were not prefab or
new, as the pieces were already used in previous themes excluding minifig
accessories. The Fright Knights weren't that bad.

I agree wholeheartedly. From then on, Lego has been doing some very foolish
things and making uncreative and shortlasting themes and sets.
My proof that

I've been tempted to buy megablocks but quality is the only thing that stops
me. The sets are creative and they're inexpensive, but it is a clone brand.
Lego is abusing their power over the other brands. Lego is original and has
the best quality of pieces, but they don't care what they make now. Lego
better shape up soon or else they will suffer greatly for their foolish actions.

Man, I never messed with ebay and probably never will. Too expensive!
I mean why did they cancel it in the first place, were we

I called Lego Consumer Affairs in 1998 and they said the production of sets
are based on the interests of the kid market. (This is what I call a
downside of Capitalism!)
I hope they

They newer generation of pirates weren't bad, YOU just don't like them.

Lego needs to make better sets before pirates return. Otherwise, they would
be crap and noone would buy them. If they do come back, I hope they keep
Captain Red beard and the Imperial Guards/Armada idea, not make new characters.
