Hello all,
I have got approval finally to post here, but my posts from my system are
still rejected. I can post via web (and have to approve each post manually)
but if I try to post with my newsreader/newserver I get a:
<- 441 New Users Start Here: http://news.lugnet.com/news/post/setup/
Is there a FAQ on how to setup newreaders and newservers to interact with
lugnet news?
Will it always be that I have to approve each post manually?

| (...) said when you signed up. For example look at my From: line above. If I said "Bill Ward" or even "William R. Ward" with a dot after the "R", then it would reject my post with that message. This is most likely the cause. --Bill. (22 years ago, 14-Jun-02, to lugnet.people.newbie)

The suggestion of checking the email address was the right one (I did not have my real name in the email just the mangled address). I will be lurking around a bit before (...)
