I too was surprised and deeply saddened to hear of Eric's sudden passing.
My prayers to his family, friends, and co-workers for their loss.
Though we enjoyed similar interests in LEGO model fire apparatus and spoke
through work (Eric dispatching for HealthEast and me at St. Paul Fire)
I am sorry to say we never got the chance to meet in person.
For those who didn't know Eric you may want to see his bio at:
http://members.aol.com/LCFDFireChief/eric.htm
and main LEGO City Fire Dept website at:
http://members.aol.com/LCFDFireChief/lcfd.htm
I don't know if this is possible but perhaps someone would be able to host
some or all his content from LCFD as a memorial?
