I just found out about it myself, while at work here at the station.  I dont
there are any words that can express to anyone what it is like to lose a
comrade and fellow brother, especially the ones of us that are firefighters
as a profession in real life.

The flags at Woodchuck are also being flow at half-staff in honor, not just
memory of our fallen friend.  I also think that in addition to a memorial,
that Aug 21st needs to be marked at a "Lego Memorial Holiday" in his honor.
Not just Erics, but all of our fallen brothers.  Woodchucks flags will be
flow at half-staff from this day foward on that date.

Away from that, and back to reality, my fellow brothers of Salem Fire-EMS,
A-Shift, and IAFF Local 3478 salute our fellow brother.  My prayers are
certainly with you my brother, as you have answered your final call.  My you
now protect Heaven the same as you protected Earth.

God speed, and God bless.

I didn't see this posted anywhere here on Lugnet and I myself just found out about it a few minutes before posting this. I know many here had dealings with Eric, although I do not know if he ever officially joined Lugnet or not. I considered him a (...) (22 years ago, 25-Aug-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general) !!
