How does your status inform your views about TLC's level of participation
and the future of Lugnet in relation to TLC?
I'm not entirely sure what I can say to this question really.. can you
rephrase or elabarate?

I guess I meant: what did you learn from being on the *inside* that informs
your attitudes about the company overall and/or how to deal with them?

I'm afraid what you mean is not TLC, but LD. My status and history with TLC
has no real bearing on that of LUGNET's with LD. But, I suppose the things I
know about -do- build a certain picture.

I'm not sure why the parent company has no relationship to the question, but
I think we'd like to see an answer concerning your overall impressions of
the company and where it is going, how they handle business relationships, etc.

What is that "certain picture"?

singled out among..?
Do you feel constrained in ways that others are not?
'others' being...?

I just meant other websites dedicated to Lego. Brickshelf, FBTB, Brickset,
etc.  I wondered if you felt that Lugnet was treated unfairly in some way.

Just tell us what you think.  Maybe all that is needed is a statement about
Lugnet's future and intended direction, as both a property belonging to you
and Todd and as a community resource.  Just answering that might be hard enough.

Note: I originally wrote these questions as just general points of interest
concerning the earlier firestorm of controversy (and that as a kind of
defense of your apparent attitude absent better information) and not as some
formal list of interrogatories -- in the main, if you have thoughts you
think you could share with the lugnet community now might be a good time to
share them.  It is not my purpose to try and gain disclosures from you that
you do not wish to make, or even to engage you in a conversation that you
don't want to participate in.

Here are some short answers, for now.. (...) no. (...) I didn't disclose anything while I worked for TLC (1996-1999), but it's not a secret anymore. I worked for R&D. LEGO Futura, Boston office. LFB's job was to come up with cool, innovative LEGO (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.people)
