But it’ts difficault to use in a 6wide train roof if you want roof detail.

So build 8 wide. Problem solved:-)

Or use jumper plates and build your train roof in a 7 wide, giving you one row of studs in the middle.

Or just build the whole train seven-wide and don’t worry about the jumper plates ;)
