| A few part mods for the brave: I decided that buying 32x32 baseplates and cutting them in two was cheaper than buying twice as many 16x32 baseplates. The question is how to make a reliable straight cut. I've used 4x8 plates for rigidity and slider (...) | My first track mod was the now fairly common point with a 2-curve side-branch. I'd always wanted to do the opposite - to move the track over with just curves. | (...) Ondrew - what would be required to do a one-lane step to the side? That is, to move over 16 studs as if going through one of those crossovers, but just using curve/straight/parallelogram sections? All your examples include points, but my best (...)
