Re: How do -you- clean your LEGO parts?

(...) I run them in the dishwasher, on the top rack in mesh bags. I even use the heat. It's never been a problem. To dry the bricks, I put them in the food dehydrator. It's one of those stackable models with a big pile of trays. I distribute the (...) (17 years ago, 23-Feb-08, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: How do -you- clean your LEGO parts?

(...) I use washing machine. I pre-sort the parts, plates longer than 8 go out, anything printed/glass/sticke...d/electric goes out, and also the things from softer plastic should go (trees, clips etc.). Then I put it in cloth bag (old pillow), (...) (17 years ago, 21-Feb-08, to lugnet.parts)

Re: How do -you- clean your LEGO parts?

(...) Tooth brush is what I use to be very careful, and an old electric tooth brush. For large amounts I use the dish washer on delicate, cold water, bricks in a girly stuff bag, no drying. I take them out and put them under a fan after laying them (...) (17 years ago, 21-Feb-08, to lugnet.parts)

How do -you- clean your LEGO parts?

I don't think LUGNET has had any discussions about this in quite some time. How do -you- clean your LEGO parts? I'm interested in learning people's techniques, particularly ones that clean a lot of parts at once with little effort. LEGO that's been (...)   Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) That's more or less correct. If you pull up an individual part entry, the far right column shows what sets it's been used in (if it's a part, minifig, or some other sub-component of a set), and the next column to the left will give you rolling (...)   Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) Lugnet has a tab somewhere in the catalog section that gives the high and low and average price or medium price. It is very handy as I think that it keeps track of what was sold and does not reset once there are none on Bricklink John P (17 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) That is the inherent difficulty when selling such parts, there is no sound way to determine up ahead what a person would be willing to pay for it. Since I'm not in demant for it either, my "gut feeling" estimate for the price would be a low (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jan-08, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

(...) Ah, many thanks, Manfred! Another question for you if you don't mind. Since no one is selling this part on Bricklink, what would you ask for it? A dollar? Five dollars? I was thinking a dollar since it is an old and rare part, yet I've never (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jan-08, to lugnet.parts)

Can't find this part on Peeron: 2x2 plates with connecting stem

Y'all know the part I mean: two white-translucent 2x2 plates with smooth bottoms connected by a very thin strand (space of 3 studs between the two plates). I believe they were used as truck or car hitches. Searched for "2 x 7" parts and found (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jan-08, to lugnet.parts)

Is there a sticker database anywhere

Is there a site or database out there listing parts with stickers on them and which sets they came in? Something I can use if I have a stickered part and want to find out what set(s) it cames in or if I want to know what parts the stickers for a (...)   Re: part/color combos you wish existed

  part/color combos you wish existed

What parts do you wish existed in colors they dont currently exist in? My votes for parts I would love to see: Wing 2 x 4 (URL) in black (great for the front hood of cars and such) Windscreen 3 x 4 x 1 & 1/3 Slope 33 (URL) in trans-smoke More (...) (17 years ago, 11-Dec-07, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Another new element? (was Thomas Update with new element!)

(...) And if you look at the new Indiana Jones motorcycle chase you'll see a 1x4x3 version similar to this. Looks like a new window system. Tim (17 years ago, 4-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: Another new element? (was Thomas Update with new element!)

(...) Yea, this is the new 1x2x2 windows with clipping glass (imagine a trans black or trans light blue glass instead!!!). I've got this informations from somebody on 1000steine forum. Moreover note the new door fitting the 1x4x6 frame... not bad! (...) (17 years ago, 4-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Another new element? (was Thomas Update with new element!)

(...) Another question about a new element. Take a look at this picture here (2008 Creator house set): (URL) See the white 1x2x2 windows on the second level of the house? Could these be an updated version of our beloved 1x2x2 old-style windows that (...) (17 years ago, 4-Dec-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: What is this ejector-seat car base?

That's it - thanks Tim! I had searched BL on "car base" but this one didn't show up because of the comma, I guess. Kevin ---...--- Custom LEGO building instructions and models: (URL) Instructions (URL) instructions ($$) (URL) (17 years ago, 29-Nov-07, to lugnet.parts)

What is this ejector-seat car base?

In a garage sale lot I found an odd little 4x8 car base, mainly yellow, with red permanently-attached wheels on metal axles, with a loose light grey bumper strip at one end which, when pushed in, causes a section in the center of the car base to (...) (17 years ago, 28-Nov-07, to lugnet.parts)
