Am I the only one who hates Lego parts with missing notches of plastic?

I was looking thru a bunch of old 1950's macaroni bricks I purchased recently from a Danish collector. The macaroni bricks were first introduced in 1955. From 1955-57 they came in 4 different types, after 1957 only the type we know today continued (...) (20 years ago, 27-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) Thanks! Yeap, there are a lot of us Michiganians. (...) After my post yesterday I got to thinking that I'd left the gothic arch system incomplete. So below I'll give you a 1x8x4 & a 1x5x5 half arch. The regular half arch, has that 1x2 plate (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Also dont forget the standard Lego power connectors - they are a 2/3 2x2 brick. If you really wanted (already cringing at this) you could snip off the cable - and you have the brick. Danny -- (URL) - Build Robots (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) Nice diagrams Jason (and fellow Michiganian)! I mentioned a 1x6x2 Gothic arch, but I guess it would be too narrow in the middle, a 1x6x3 arch makes much more sense. Maybe even a 1x5x5 half Gothic arch would be nice. One other thing about (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Re: Does it exist?

(...) Sure (URL) actually a bit taller than 2/3 brick height, because of that funky rim on the top, but if you were to slice that whole end with the rim off it would be 1x1x2/3 (ignoring that stud on the side). Not a basic brick, but I have several (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) This topic came up a few months back on the MichLUG mailing list and I modeled up a few of the wish parts. Curved Parts: (2 URLs) Gothic Arches: (2 URLs) Personally, I'm rather fond of the gothic arches, so I'd have to pick the 1x6x3 arch as (...)   Re: Does it exist?

(...) I had forgotten all about that piece, though I once asked for help in identifying it. (URL) it out!> Thanks for your input. Dave! (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Re: Does it exist?

(...) Good call! That wasn't quite what I was envisioning, but I guess it qualifies. For that matter, one might make a half-hearted case that the "Space Positioning Rockets" might sort of partially qualify, with the one-stud-plate overhang. (...)   Re: Does it exist?

There's also the 1 x 20 x 2/3 rack piece. Not really a brick, but it is two thirds the height of one (URL) of the newest parts is the 1 x 1 x 2/3 slope (URL) again, not a brick though! Richard.
