Also dont forget the standard Lego power connectors - they are a 2/3
2x2 brick. If you really wanted (already cringing at this) you could
snip off the cable - and you have the brick.

the top, but if you were to slice that whole end with the rim off it would be
1x1x2/3 (ignoring that stud on the side).  Not a basic brick, but I have

of these.
