Has LEGO ever produced a brick thats two-thirds or half the height of a
standard 2x4 brick?
Just wondering.

Sure (URL) actually a bit taller than 2/3 brick height, because of that funky rim on the top, but if you were to slice that whole end with the rim off it would be 1x1x2/3 (ignoring that stud on the side). Not a basic brick, but I have several (...) (20 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts, FTX)
