Its one of the most trivial things, but its always bothered me. Why have that texture on the slope end? What purpose does it serve? From the small selection of un-textured slopes we have, one can only infer that these would be less trouble to (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

Hey, thanks for posting this, Norbert! It's very informative and well-written. I'm going to try the epoxy. I've tried a couple of hair pieces using a cut down motorcycle helmet as a base, but because I get a one-track mind about my hobby techniques (...) (...) What happens when you run it off 9V as you do? Is the capacitor getting overvoltage? Would this have an effect on long term durability?
