I am just getting back online now and want to also wish the best to all those
who won. The competition was in the best spirit and most fun I could imagine.
Everyone was great and friendly, I kid you not that there was great talent in
all the finalists. The press release sums things up best:
“We saw such amazing talent in these 27 finalists, that it was just too
difficult to choose only one to join our team,” said Pat DeMaria, supervisor of
the Model Shop. “Plus by the way the theme park is expanding, I wouldn't be
surprised if we see more of them in the future.” (credit LEGOLAND press)
Hint, hint you guys!!
Of all of us that walked away afterwards, that is perhaps the most hopeful thing
to hear. I know the spotlight is on the three, and they deserve it, but your
brothers in bricks had fun with you. Those two brief days really brought people
together from all walks of life, from all corners of the nation.
Enjoy the fortune guys (and gal), and the great Carlsbad weather too!!
And to all of you I met and spent time with, YOU ALL ROCK!!!
