Alright Brian,
You got me (sorry guys but it was a side conversation).
Anyways, thanks everyone for the feedback, it was really helpful. I myself was
unfortunately unable to attend the show. Oh and if anyone was wondering who the
builder of the green and white dock crane is, that would be me.
After going to Brian’s house today to work on a model and after discussing the
show, Brian and I came to a few conclusions:
1.) We need to work on organization. It was a cluttered mess of a layout. The
layout needs to be sectioned off into various different areas such as city,
farmland, airport, seaport, yard/shops, wilderness, town, etc… That will
hopefully be mostly addressed for the next show next weekend.
2.) Work on adding more mocs and using fewer sets. This is always a plus. People
always enjoy seeing what you can build.
3.) Adding additional tables for displaying mocs.
4.) Using a different layout for each show. So like 5 or 6 designs, but rotate
though them. Mixing it up like that makes it way more enjoyable.
5.) Building our own tables. Having to rely on others for the needed tables is
becoming rather bothersome, and we can never know what to expect.
6.) Possibly in the future, do theme layouts, like old west, futuristic, space
colony, etc...
So basically we have a some work to do.
