So, I was just wondering...

Should we start letting people know what size and # of corridors we have on
our modules, so we can get a basic layout going, or should we just show up
with modules and end caps and put it together on the spot?

I vote for the first option, but that may be just because I like organization...

To get things started:
My module has 2 corridors (L-shaped) and is on one grey baseplate.

Good question Laura!  I'm wondering what kind of problems we might encounter
in putting these together also.  It might not be any trouble at all, but the
monorail aspect has me confused.  I've studied Pat's module and I'm not
clear on how we are going to be able to combine everyone's module and fit
the monorail track system into it.  I'm almost at a point to where I'm
thinking that we might just have to do a separate monorail display.  Either
that or have one track that dead ends into the base.  I've been playing with
some possible scenerios to see if I'm just blind to the solution, but so far
I haven't figured it out.
I have two modules I'm bringing for now.  One has a single corridor and the
other has three corridors.  They are both single gray baseplate size!
I'm thinking of maybe making a couple that would act simply as connecting
modules comprised of a single center hub with corridors that attach as
needed.  Then we could use them to fill gaps if we have holes in our base
that need filling.
It might be nice if we could plan the base ahead of time.  It may be more
fun to just figure it out on the site.  Some modules might require a
specific location due to their size, height, etc. to better facilitate the
whole base!  I really don't know as I've never been a part of something like
this before.  Is there anyone who could help educate us on this?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this works out.  It should
be fun!
Tom
