Hey Texas AFOLs,
We're going to have a meeting in March, and the date has been picked:
Saturday, March 9th. The meeting will take place in Austin, at the house of
Jason Spangler. The meeting will be from 10am to 8pm.
Out of the many responses I've received so far, I estimate there could be 13
to 16 people at the meeting. Please email me if you're interested in
attending, and I'll send you further details like directions to Jason's
house and things you need to bring.
There will be a MOC contest, with prizes! So bring something you've built.
We'll be doing a train layout, so bring anything you have that's train related.
If you missed the last meeting (Sept. 29th), we had a blast. It was great to
meet everyone and spend a Saturday sharing our favorite hobby. The upcoming
meeting will surely be an excellent event and everyone will have a great time.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone from the last meeting again, and to
meeting new faces.
