Happy New Year, SMART members! And Happy 10th Anniversary!!! Yes, ten years ago
we had our first SMART meeting. It doesn't feel nearly that long, but I guess
that means we've been having a lot of fun!
This month the fun continues with our latest mini-challenge: building a robot
that can climb a rope. As usual, it's up to you to decide how difficult to make
this. Challenge yourself! Have your robot find the rope first, if you want, or
attach your robot to the rope already. Just climb up or climb up and then back
down. Use a rope or ribbon of your choice. (Don't forget to bring it!) Also, you
can tie the end of the rope down if you like, or let it hang loose.
The meeting is at our usual location in the Plato auditorium at DigiPen in
Redmond, from 2 to 5pm.

| (...) Just a quick reminder about tomorrow's meeting stating at 2pm at DigiPen! If you have a mini-challenge robot (rope climbing) don't forget to bring it. Even if it doesn't work perfectly, I'd still encourage you to bring it: we can learn from (...) (14 years ago, 29-Jan-10, to lugnet.org.us.smart)
