The next SMART meeting will be held at the Redmond Regional Library on September
27th from 2 to 5pm. We'll be getting our SMART-Bot City display ready for
BrickCon, which takes place on the following weekend. So the mini-challenge is
to build an interesting tour-bot which we can show at the con. The robot needs
to be able to track lines and make 90-degree turns at the intersections. While
we had much bigger ambitions about what the robots might do while driving around
the city streets, for just this event we'll be scaling them back to just having
reliable robots driving around the city. The next time we show our robots, we'll
have them doing all the interesting things we previously discussed.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting, and hopefully at BrickCon
2008 the following weekend!

I remember that we discussed a lot of ideas about how to space intersections and whether they would be marked, but I don't remember (...) (16 years ago, 16-Sep-08, to lugnet.org.us.smart)
