  The Great Ball Contraption
 
Well, I don't have a web page made up, yet, but over the holidays, several of us got together to set-up a Great Ball Contraption. The Great Ball Contraption is a take-off of SMART's Crate Contraption. With the GBC, balls are moved (instead of crates (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Thanks David for organizing this meeting. It looks like I missed a lot of cool robots. Good job Mark on a excellent mini-challenge robot. We had a small but wonderful meeting last weekend! Gus showed a wind-up clock that he's been working on. He gave an interesting presentation on how several escapement mechanisms work, and also some useful pointers on how to reduce friction in gear (...)
