Check out these table plans from the Pacific Northwest Lego Train Club at:

Don't know how much these would cost or how long they would take to build, but
the seem to be functional and allow for flexible layouts. Also, the legs come
off, so they should be relatively easy to store.

| Well seeing that I have not been able to bring this up to a majority of members at a meeting for brainstorming/debate in person I thought I would try and get something started here because we do need to make a final decision soon and submit an (...)
