  Re: DIE... no just jealous

(...) Travis, I hadn't heard that you were looking for some robotic competition, but we've talked in the past about getting a robotics special-interest group going in NELUG. Joe Comeau and I are pretty heavily into MindStorms, even though the bulk (...) (21 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Tom's Fire Trucks

(...) That's a very nice render Travis. Could you post the light and camera settings, or even the pov file? They'd be perfect for instruction images. Cheers, Allister (21 years ago, 28-Oct-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.cad, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Tom's Fire Trucks

(...) Sweet trucks Tom, sweet render Travis. I think the baseplate might need tweaking somewhere in translating it to POV to kill the reflection though. I seem to recall some discussion of that somewhere but can't find it offhand at the mo... but (...) (21 years ago, 28-Oct-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.cad, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Tom's Fire Trucks

Tom Duggan recently sent me some .ldr files of his awsome firetrucks. I thought I'd check out what they looked like rendered together. (URL) and LMKWYT! -tk (21 years ago, 28-Oct-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.cad, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  QuickTime movie of some Trains

At a recent train show in Western Mass, I made a small video (7.5 MB) of some trains running by. Next time I'll remember to bring a tripod. We had a lot of fun. The first train you see, on the inner track, is one of mine, and the second train that (...) (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Meeting at Solmon Pond

Has anything been decided about this? People were throwing some dates around, but nothing seems to be solidifying. Chris (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) If Teddy and I meet at lunch today, does that count:) He works upstairs from me. I am just worried that the opportunity to present at the show might evaporate if we wait too long. (...) Chris, I have no idea how much web space we have for ldglite, but you could probably put it there temporarily, and I could move it from there to my ISP space, which I'm not using for much of anything right now. (...) As you have probably seen on our mailing list we are trying to encourage a W. Mass sub group to start meeting.   Oct, Nov, and Feb Train shows [was Re: Train show]

(...) Well, I took one picture... (URL) help set up on Friday and didn't think to bring a camera. I helped man the show on Sunday, but it was very busy on Sunday.   Train show

I wanted to thank all the NELUG members that allowed us to borrow some stuff for the show this weekend. It was a lot of fun, and of course, no one in Western MA knew that LEGO made trains. Go figure.
