Re: Brikwars 4/29/00 Pics are up

(...) I'm glad you like it! I did make it a bit bigger overall to enable the back to hold a bigger weapon or so it could act as a troop transport. It was designed more for BrikWars utility than realism. :D (...) Yes, I did! Thank you for noticing. (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.gaming)

Re: Brikwars 4/29/00 Pics are up

(...) It looks cool! Since it looks like a truck more than a jeep, it is probably better scaled to the minifigs than the jeep. I also like the bombed out church in the background. It kinda looks like your work. Did you make it? Fredrik (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.gaming)

Re: Brikwars 4/29/00 Pics are up

(...) Yes... specifically, the one in this shot (URL) mine, which I mentioned to you earlier. I have to admit that by the time I made the changes I wanted (adding a third set of wheels, using the "spring axles", etc) mine is nowhere near as sturdy (...)   Upcomming changes to the NELUG mailing list and Website...

This is just a heads up for a couple of changes that I am planning for the NELUG mailing list and website over the next week or so. 1. I plan on replacing our current mailing list with a new and improved mailing list that is both easier on me to (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: NELUG's 2nd Window display at The Construction Site in Waltham MA

(...) That is Chris Phillips' University. He also did the larger Keep, the Windmill, and the Trojan Bunny. I will be trying to get more pictures of everything when I can get down to TCS again. (...) approaching the wall? :^) The pictures that are up look nice and it does look like a difficult space to photograph. Essentially WE WANT MORE PICS!, how does that sound? Pretty Please? Mike :^) All other themes are just spare parts for Castle! (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: NELUG's 2nd Window display at The Construction Site in Waltham MA

(...) Mayhaps the Guild of Bricksmiths should investigate creating their own display using models they are actually selling. To my knowledge, none of the models in the display are in their catalogue, nor were any of the modellers asked to (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: NELUG's 2nd Window display at The Construction Site in Waltham MA

(...) Or more business for the Guild of Bricksmiths. I can imagine quite a few people would shell out for a few $30-$50 peasant houses and wall sectons/towers. Of course the gatehouse could go for more, starting at around $100. The Guild should make (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Brikwars 4/01/00 Pics are up

  Brikwars 4/29/00 Pics are up

Re: NELUG's 2nd Window display at The Construction Site in Waltham MA

(...) If I get some time I will try and LDraw a section. It is pretty simple and the hardest things to get are the 4 inside corner slopes and 8 outside corner slopes. Actually the outside corners arn't that hard anymore but I think the X-Wing is (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: NELUG's 2nd Window display at The Construction Site in Waltham MA

The keep and wall sections look *fantastic* !!!!! Is there any chance we'll see an LDraw file of a wall section, so that we can get an idea of the piece count and design of them? *drool* I love it's scale, and the sparcity of windows is a nice (...)
