Yes! I will be at BF this year.
As mentioned in another thread somewhere, I will be driving down on my own
in my 2 seater and will not be able to carpool with anyone. This plan is
because Nicky, my SO, will possibly be meeting me in DC on the 10th, and
after BF we may take a week's roadtrip to visit her brother in Tennessee.
Naturally, this poses some logistical issues. First, I won't have room for
any passengers. Second, I can't be a passenger since I will need my car for
the post-BF vacation. Third, I doubt I can fit all my Moonbases in my car
and still leave room for Nicky and luggage.
I have been considering UPSing my MOCs to an Uncle in the DC area, and then
UPSing them back to MA. That would free up space in the car, but also
leaves a fair chance that my MOCs will be bashed to bits for the Fest. The
other option might be if someone trustworthy from my area has room in their
vehicle for my items, perhaps we could arrange something? <hint hint>
I figure I will head down Thursday the 7th and leave for elsewhere on the
following Monday. While there, I will spend one or two nights at my uncle's
place and one or two nights at an old friend's place (also nearby), so I
won't need space in the hotel.
