I saw Steve mess with it a little bit (as it requires some tinkering
occasionally) so I will answer the question as best as I can.
Below the grid structure is two loops of 9V track. Neither is in its typically
placement. On those a motor can run around. Attached to the motor is a pivoting
arm that has a wheel set and magnet on top. The wheel set runs on the old style
rail and a brick, while the magnet comes very close to the bottom of a road
plate. It is the guide rails along the top that keep the magnet in the right
place and drag the cars above around. For the corners, I saw that Steve was
using some tubing to get the right shape.
Ill prod Steve a little more (he doesnt read Lugnet much) and see if he can
follow up with a better description and maybe some pics.
