Well, there is some history on this, but suffice to say, we had some
communication problems and the like with the coordinator, and he couldn't
get past we don't pay to show. Anyway,

They did ask us to come, we actually went to Contraption last year, and
ConFusion in January as well, and did not pay, but this time it is different.

Indeed. In MichLUG's view, it is their loss, and we can work on other
things, like GATS, which does NOT charge us for being there. : ) Maybe next
time.
