Looking at <http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=5784> and the
page Scott mentioned, <http://rrhistorical-2.com/gtwhs/logos.html>, I'm
wondering if the GTRS logo ever appeared without the background maple leaf,
in red. Replacing "Grand Trunk Railway System" with "Michigan LEGO(R) Train
Club" would give us a simple, bold logo.
Would this have a better recognition factor than the pm2 logo?

That stylistic underbar makes it recognizable to the RR trufans, and yet it is simpler to do than the leaf... less colors and way easier to set up for embroidery. I like.
