Re: Curious Kids' Museum Show - Caslte, Town/Train, Space & Aquazone

(...) I am pleased as punch to see the Sea Monkeys were represented so well. Since you're hoping for a bigger display next year, perhaps I could come out and help. Maybe between me an Nik we could make something impressive. Felix (22 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

Re: Picking a time & place

(...) I think I'd prefer to hold off until after MCCC, if possible, especially if we're going to hold this in lieu of a regular MichLUG meeting (May 1st, June 5th). (22 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.us.lrgoaa, lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX)

  How are your robots going?

Hi guys, I have finaly received the parts ordered from BrickLink and I am about to finish the third robot. But there is something interesting that I want to say first.   Re: My army on field training exercise

(...) Wow Ken, if the original image is a fake I'd love to hear how you did it. It looks very realistic. jt (22 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: My army on field training exercise

(...) Okay, time for the bad news. This image is mostly a ruse intended to confuse and deter the enemies of Bricksburg. There were only about 300 troops, 9 armored vehicles and 4 jeeps as shown in this image: (URL) It *was* April 1st after all. You (...) (22 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

(URL) Some of you guys have come up with ways to make nano-scale Moonbase modules, but I figured why stop there? Why not make them so they'll fit in with a standard Moonbase layout? Straight from 1979, a classic space pod! (Been building 'em since '79).   Re: Picking a time & place

(...) Cool. Those should be very interesting. (...) We usually have 8-12 members (and 2-4 member's kids) at a meeting. As for a location, this was brought up a our meeting this past weekend and a few people were going to look into it. If it is a (...) (...) After looking at Ondrew's inventory, there is about a 90% chance I will be there (with LEGO friends from Indiana) on the 10th. We'd like to visit the other store, also. (Northbrook?)   Re: Chicago Pick-a-Brick

(...) The trip for me is more reasonable, about a 2hr drive. I probably wouldn't be able to justify making the trip as often as I do, but my wife likes shopping there, so I can get away with it.   Re: Picking a time & place
