Whether an archer or a miner, you need a place to call home

I built two more houses for my medieval village. These are simple one-story homes. One owner is a carpenter turned miner, the other belongs to an archer. Pick-a-brick was essential to getting the amount of light-yellow and teal required for these (...) (23 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle, lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX) !

  Instructions for Medieval Tudor Shop

I recieved a few requests to make some intstructions for one of my medieval shops. While this one isn't an exact replica of one I have made in the brick, nor does it have an interior, I think it is still quite useful. (2 URLs) Jason Spears | (URL) (...)   3 Year Anniversary Meeting - Saturday, November 1st

**Important Note** This meeting was orginally noted on our website in a different location. That site fell through and so we have moved to the location listed below. Agenda: Get feedback on creations, check out creations by others, and talk about (...) (23 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.loc.us.mi)

  multi club show offer

Everyone - I'd like to invite you to display at a new LEGO show coming up the weekend of December 6-7th in Winfield, IL at Cantigny Park (www.cantignypark.com).   Re: MichLUG @ the Motor City ComiCon - Caslte & Space Layouts

(...) David, Don't feel too humbled. Your display looked great! Don't worry that you may not get many comments online either, I'm sure there are many folks like me that love the MOCs at various shows but just don't speak up. I especially like the (...)   Re: MichLUG @ the Motor City ComiCon - Caslte & Space Layouts

(...) Thanks, David! Actually, this was not a competition. The two layouts were very good and a lot of fun to set up. Overall, compared to the GATS layouts that the club puts on, these were actually very small. MichLUG really does have a lot of (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX)

Re: MichLUG @ the Motor City ComiCon - Caslte & Space Layouts

Well, I used to think that our (IndyLUG's) recent layout was really cool. Now that I see MichLUG's, I'm somewhat humbled. You guys have done a superb job in my 2 favorite themes. Was there any kind of competition, or was everything just for show? (23 years ago, 25-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX)

MichLUG @ the Motor City ComiCon - Caslte & Space Layouts

MichLUG was happy to display this past weekend at the Motor City ComiCon in Novi, MI. This is our second time displaying with them and we again had a great time.   Castle in MichLUG display

Hi all, I was just looking through pictures by Scott Sanburn of your display this past weekend and was wondering about this castle: (URL) built this, and are there more detailed pictures on the web? There are a lot of great creations in that folder. (...) (23 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Pub 'n Shop

(...) I am very suprised at how small these buildings turned out. They seem plenty big next to the minifigs, but I compare them to my town creations and they seem puny. Still I will probably continue in the same scale... it makes my bricks go (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Pub 'n Shop

(...) Doing a corner building was a treat. The bricks really make a nice roof, now if we could only get those pieces straight from LEGO instead of Bricklink, we do lots more of those. (...)   Re: Pub 'n Shop

(...) Thanks. I lucked out with that stepped roof line. It just sorta happened while I was building and I thought it looked pretty good, so I just went with it. I'm sorry to say that the buildings do not have interiors. I had very little time to (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Pub 'n Shop

(...) Thank you very much. That really is a high compliment. Those occasional darker grey bricks were borrowed straight from Jon Furman's creations. Jason Spears | (URL) BrickCentral> | (URL) MichLUG> (23 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Pub 'n Shop
