Thanks, David! Actually, this was not a competition. The two layouts were very
good and a lot of fun to set up. Overall, compared to the GATS layouts that the
club puts on, these were actually very small. MichLUG really does have a lot of
talent when it comes to train layouts. This was the 4th or 5th opportunity that
we have had to put on a space/castle/fantasy layout, and we’re eager to do more
space/castle layouts since 1/3 of the club are die-hard fans of the two themes.
And it there are soooo many things you can have fun with in a space/fantasy
layout that you can’t get away with at a train show.
I’m partial to .space myself. Afterall, what else is there, really? ;^D
(duck, run!).
