To All, the GATS 2002 Novi, Michigan Movie has been uploaded. I tried to incorporate some of Ken's footage, but unfortunately it wasn't a lot. I will be doing a separate movie just for that. Looks cool! I particularly like the red and blue tudor buildings. Giving me some ideas for guild halls... Nice Blacktron creations as well. Makes me wish I had more then one Blacktron figure. MichLUG is doing a display at Confusion, a science fiction convention this weekend in Warren, MI. This is my rendition of an ornithopter. I built it for today's Confusion convention. Its wingspan is about 30", it seats 4 minifigs and features jointed wings, movable tail and a passenger cabin that's able to stay level in flight regardless of the (...) (...) Hal is a great guy! I enjoyed all his fiction, and meeting him in person. He was a regular guest at the SF con we ran in college. (...) Having recognizable Sci-Fi models is a very good idea. My ISSCV is recognizable from Space: Above and Beyond for example. (...) Lee Tucker of WAMALUG designed some of that as part of a coaling station of some sort. I shrunk it down to only include the engine and boiler. I had to drill out the 2x2 round bricks to allow the axles to go in and out, as well as gluing the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

One of the new features of the MichLTC layout was Steve Ringe's home layout module "plopped in" to a section of the show layout. (it therefore contained a "local loop" to allow I think he might be posting further about it. But just to whet people's (...)
