MichLUG is doing a display at Confusion, a science fiction convention this
weekend in Warren, MI. We have a space display roughly 15' square (open in
the middle), as well as a few castle buildings and some Technic sets.
Photos are up at
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=10609
Highlights include:
-Trains; perhaps the longest-ever Railway Express, with 14 cars and two
engines, as well as a monorail loop and some other trains.
-Buildings by Trevor Pruden, Scott Sanburn, Tony Hedglen, Rick Hallman, Kai
Brodersen, and me.
-Blacktron I light mechs, a light tank, fighters and a fighter-bomber, all
with interchangeable modular weapons.
-A row of medieval shops and my new inn (exteriors only at this point).
-A wookie Jedi beheading a Gungan with his lightsaber (the crowd favorite).
-A spaceport with a number of Sanburn, Hallman, and my ships, plus a 70+
stud-long creation by a new member we picked up at the show (sorry, I didn't
get his name--Scott?) and an ISSCV crash scene.
Enjoy the photos!
Peter
[Amy Hughes' excellent ornithopter is also on display but isn't pictured
because her photos are already posted.]

| Looks cool! I particularly like the red and blue tudor buildings. Giving me some ideas for guild halls... Nice Blacktron creations as well. Makes me wish I had more then one Blacktron figure. Wish I could have been there. Alas, had some car issues (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
