(...) Having recognizable Sci-Fi models is a very good idea. My ISSCV is recognizable from Space: Above and Beyond for example. (...) Lee Tucker of WAMALUG designed some of that as part of a coaling station of some sort. I shrunk it down to only include the engine and boiler. I had to drill out the 2x2 round bricks to allow the axles to go in and out, as well as gluing the (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

One of the new features of the MichLTC layout was Steve Ringe's home layout module "plopped in" to a section of the show layout. (it therefore contained a "local loop" to allow I think he might be posting further about it. But just to whet people's (...) (...) I did a quick lookie & the standouts from that were the Shell Station (which I had seen many pic of before) Griswold Place (same deal--that is huge!).
