Good news!
We have tentative use of Jameson Gagnepain's house on Sunday the 13th of August
- located in St. Charles, IL, about an hour west of Chicago. That is
conditional on his health and whether he gets back to work (even for an hour
today) - so it looks promising. If not, we have use of my church's classrooms
(which are decent - the youth room has couches, a pool table, sound system, and
there are other classrooms with tables, plus out back we can set up a grill) on
either Saturday the 12th or Sunday the 13th. So, in essence, we DO HAVE A
FACILITY FOR THIS EVENT.
I will post when I know for sure whether Jameson's place is available, I'll find
out this afternoon.
Times - if its at Jameson's - 12pm-evening, Sunday the 13th. If at my Church,
all day Saturday is fine, and Sunday starting around 1 or 1:30-evening.
If you are planning on coming, please email me and tell me the dates/times you
are available. I'd ask that you try to bring a dish to share, chips, veggie
tray, pop, etc...and have it a bring your own meat for a barbecue I suppose.
Please refrain from bringing alchohol (either location).
When you email me and when I have more information, I will reply with directions
and a phone number you can call for arrangements, etc.
