That sounds like a good choice. Does the lake offer aquatic
activities (rental boats, etc.) as well? Of course for me living in
Santa Cruz, I'd prefer even closer still to the South Bay, but Fremont
is a reasonable compromise...

I bought one of those stand-alone canopy thingys at Albertsons on sale
real cheap last year. I've never tried putting it together, but I
will drag it along if I go, and we can see how well it works.

A/C would be nice (dunno about TV), but I for one wouldn't be able to
go if there were cats or dogs (or cigarette smokers) living there. My
wife is very allergic and I wouldn't want my Legos getting
"contaminated".
