New Greater Florida LEGO Train Club

Hi all, The new Greater Florida LEGO Train Club (GFLTC) met for the first time last Tuesday in St. Petersburg Florida. Nick, Dennis, Mark and I picked the name, logo and table design that we will use. We also decided that we will do the first club (...) (...) Put the screeching brakes on this puppy. SLLUG is claimed by the Salt Lake Linux Users Group. And I already knew that. >:-P Cheers, - jsproat (27 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc, lugnet.org.us)

In lugnet.loc.us.ma, Eric Kingsley writes: <snip> (...) Ok, then. If no one else has any objections (hey, I'm a personable guy), I'll have a rough draft at MindFest. (...) I agree that to have a tour would be great. Dan, maybe you could see if there is any way that we could set up a tour and if so if there are any restrictions or minimums for the number of attendees or the time of the week. I know that not (...)   Re: NELUG LegoFest

(...) November is pretty open for me, but I work on Saturdays- and an all day trip is likely to be on a Saturday. I would be free either of the first two weekends of the month, Sunday and/or Monday. I'd love to be able to go, too! Although, maybe we (...)   NELUG LegoFest

Eric and I are kicking around the idea of a LegoFest in or around Enfield Connecticut (So we can bask in the glory that is LegoUSA). Our target date is sometime after Mindfest, but hopefully before we start to get any significant snow. ie the first (...)   Name voting (Was: Utah name dicussion: lug or no lug)

(...) So let's do a formal vote. I recommend we nominate 3 names each today, collate them tomorrow, cast votes on Friday.   Re: Utah name dicussion: lug or no lug

Hi guys. I've seen the discussion going on for a bit here and I sense that it could go on longer still, so let me put my vote in for WAFOL (or even Wasatch Area Fans and Friends of Lego Entertainment). I'd really like to get the name nailed down (...) (27 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc, lugnet.org.us)

Re: Utah name dicussion: lug or no lug

Utah name dicussion: lug or no lug

  Re: More name ideas

(...) Well again my 2 cents... Just to be anti-uniform for anti-uniformity's sake is not allways the way to go in my opinion. I am not suggesting some sort of Facist or Socialist standard that we all must follow and then Salute to the LEGO flag of (...)   Re: More name ideas

(...) Congrats on a great meeting and what appears to be another strong LEGO group. If I may throw in my 2 cents worth here as far as a name goes.   Re: Help me plan for Mindfest.

There may or may not be a free shuttle but my advice is learn the T. Even if you're only in town for a weekend, it's a much better way to go. Plus the trains are much tighter headings than the 1/2 hour heading a shuttle is likely to be on. A cab (...)
