| Hi all, as announced previously, NCLUG was the host of LEGOPalooza this weekend at Morehead Planetarium. This year, the event was expanded to 2 days, and was earlier in the year compared to previous paloozas. This time, we had a Star Wars display (...) | (...) Very slick-looking John. It seems odd that one of the neatest attractions in the GBC may be only tangentially related to soccer balls, but that is a very nice design. | I suppose this doesn't have to really be for the GBC only, but that was why I decided to build it. I've been playing with this idea since Brickfest '06 when Steve Hassenplug suggested a way to go in & out of the GBC area without crawling under the (...) | (...) I did some testing with encouraging results and programmed the robot to respond to sound this morning. As a matter of fact, when I last tried Trackdraw, I could not get it to work (IT restrictions, etc. 2+ jobs ago?) but I saw that I have Net on my computer here, and just got it running. At MichLUG's first show at GATS in January of 2001, (URL) did pretty much the same thing - a lot of people brought stuff, and we basically filled in places as we went along.
