  Maze robot testing

I've been thinking about putting together a maze robot for NEIRG. Last night it went from "thinking" to "doing" as I built a prototype. Now I'm wondering, how do I test thing thing? I've never really spent much time making a maze running robot, and (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Alternatives for 3T... 4T?

I don't know where this person got the idea from, but it looks nicely implemented. I've been playing around with a 4T version of mine (as well as 4x4 checkers, or chess, or something like 3 Man's Morris), but haven't gotten beyond defining a 4x4 (...)   GBC siding control - status

I built quite a nice sensor, neatly landscaped into a small rocky roadcut... and then realized it would require two RCX inputs, which I didn't consider acceptable. So I thought about it and rebuilt, but didn't "pretty it up" yet. However, it works. (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

I've had four people ask about a wider line, including two that were concerned that if the line wasn't really 3/4" wide, their light sensors wouldn't be able to track the line properly. In fact, the "3/4-inch" tape is just a bit under 3/4", so I'm (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

Last reminder about Saturday's meeting (2pm, Digipen; mini-challenge is there-and-back-again drag racing). Has anyone built a GBC (Great Ball Contraption) module that they could bring to the meeting? I'd like to have one or more to demonstrate what (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Spare Room tm - an extra room for your moonbase visitors

I thought I'd give you all someting to look at while I finish the images for the moonbase. This was inspired by the MOC of a trailer park "dorm room" I found on Brickshelf. I just expanded it out a bit. I wonder if this is the smallest module out (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.lucny)
