Some more attempts at the trapezoid shaped yard: R-Yard3: Perfect geomety, but the "main" line is composed of all curves. Not preferrable or very nice looking. (...) 6 track lengths is only 2.5 feet of train. That's not very much. Even for a short train. I'm saying that 6 should be the shortest. The others can be longer. On a curve we don't have the room but on the straight we should have all we need. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
