Re: Sadly I feel this must be voiced...

Robin Sather wrote in message <3b38facc.18061096@l...et.com>... (...) True, true. Andrew Robertson and David Gagnon are both interested but not online. When is our next meeting? Next Friday?   Re: Sadly I feel this must be voiced...

(...) I agree with you, Dean, that participation is lacking. However, I think "we" can still pull it off, and have a lot of fun doing it. There is help waiting in the wings (ie. off-line), but lacking direction, they don't know what to do. I think (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Sadly I feel this must be voiced...

It is with great sadness that I write this letter. But I feel that our attending the Aug show should be canceled... We are not going to make that deadline. Our participation is sorely lacking. (With the exception of a small few) I would like to (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Ambassador train cars

(...) That's a good idea. I'd like it if everyone donated a couple of parts to it. Sort of a team effort. Who want's to design it? Dean (23 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Ambassador train cars

Check this message re ambassador cars for the PNLTC layout at Legoland CA this summer: (URL) would be good to send one from VLC! Kevin ---...--- Craftsman Lego Kits & Custom models: (URL) Lego parts store: (URL) Lego auctions: (URL) Guild of (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Train Show Registration Questions

(...) Once the layout is set up and built, I do not feel that it would be too much effort, except on the days for viewing, to maintain. As long as each of the club members can reserve their Lego in that form for the duration of the layout. Dean (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Train Show Registration Questions

Robin Sather wrote in message <3b322c3b.225708461@...et.com>... (...) That's great, though maybe too much work for us to do this year. Going from 1 show to 4 is pushing it a bit, no? Even if we do basically the same layout each time. Kevin ---...--- (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Robin Sather wrote in message <3b32292b.224923831@...et.com>... (...) Nope, I'll be gone from 28th July or so until late on 6 Aug. We'll have to arrange for me to leave buildings and whatever else I'm contributing with someone else before I leave. (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Finalizing design, assigning tasks, and making it happen

I know that each of us is kind of working on some things already, but I think we should meet to finalize the design, and delegate responsibilities and tasks, including building, table skirting, signage, promo materials, etc. We may not need to meet (...)   Re: Train Show Registration Questions

We've had some interest from yet another Train show. They actually asked the Trains 2001 show organizers for our contact information! The show is the Mount Cheam Lions Club Model Railway Show. It takes place in Chilliwack, on October 20th and 21st, (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
