The plans are accurate except in one respect: We decided the key
feature of the height of the design was to place the underside of the
module top (the plywood) as close to the tops of the legs as we could.
(The modules actually rest on the skirt, not the tops of the legs.)
Since people's modules differ a little bit in height, etc, we lowered
the 1x6 skirt a bit and added 8 adjustable-height bolts. Now the
modules rest on the bolt heads (1 for each corner of the 2 modules), and
we can adjust for imperfections and inconsistencies in module design.
We effectively used the same t-nut, nut, and bolt arrangement as the
adjustable feet, only we used shorter bolts.

I'm going to try to beat my way thru the snow and get the rest of my mods built tomorrow, then next weekend I can do legs, then we'll see where we go (...)
