Here's what we did, I don't have any diagrams (maybe Derek can help here)
but here's the best I can come up with:
Basically, we took 1x10 (8ft) boards and ripped them in half on table saw.
These made the "skirt" that the module sits on. Now, the major modification
was that on the top edge of these half 1x10's, we drilled in holes to put
bolts into. In the holes go these little metal screw threads which dig into
the wood. I'm not sure what they're called, but the idea was to allow the
module to be trimmed up and down by screwing and unscrewing four 2" long
1/4" bolt. There are eight of these, one per corner of two modules. The
module sits on the bolt, which can be variably adjusted, and the bolt sits
in the hole on the half 1x10 of the skirt.
As a result, the skirt sits about 2 3/4" from the top, which is I think a
lot lower than on Derek's drawings.
In the original design, the modules sat on the skirt alone. Now, instead of
four points of variability for adjustment (the bottom of the legs) you have
12 points (four legs, 8 module up down bolts)
We also took 2x3's for the legs themselves. While Derek may have planed his
down from larger stock, we just used the 2x3's alone.

| Hey Calum, Do you have some sort of specs on your modifications to the Raycraft Module Legs(tm)? I'm going to try to beat my way thru the snow and get the rest of my mods built tomorrow, then next weekend I can do legs, then we'll see where we go (...)
