i had a calculator with a busted lcd and the spot didnt spread until i
started touching the screen.
the liquid is b/w the top plastic and the glass so it will spread if
pressure is applied, or if the unit is shaken, etc.
i'm just saying it might never spread, but if it does, then you can't read
the display, which would suck.
so there you are.

p.s. did i mention that lego sent me a replacement motor? verry nice of
them. i can see why they always remained my favourite large corporation
(besides the small almost unrelated point--the product they make)
