First, thanks to everyone who emailed me-I'll get around to organizing a
response which will eventually lead to the rtlToronto newsgroup for further
discussion.  To answer a few questions:

When: Late May (I am taking vacation from the office early May) or July, as
not to conflict to rtlToronto8 (Robotics).

Who:  There's a good number of folks now who have shown interest.  I'll get
around to actually formally organizing something.  I suspect there are two
types of people out there:

-Those with huge collections (ie, full scale layouts)
-Those with small collections (ie, single trainsets, individual town
buildings etc)

What: Here's the plan.  I was thinking of borrowing/renting a room in
Etobicoke at the local library.  We would grab a bunch of tables, and
organize a freeform layout that would have major contributors (ie, those
with large numbers of rolling stock, structures etc) set up "towns", then
link the towns together with track.  Others could bring their own trains, or
buildings they put together.

Everyone would bring as much track as they could (each taped with a tapeflag
or a bit of masking tape to figure out who owned each track piece)

Hi Calum.

I'm on holiday in Canada in May, and will be in Ontario around that time. Would
you be looking at 26-27 May? I won't have any Lego to bring, but it'd be good
to catch up with you guys.

(...) Hi Ross, While I can't quite say for sure, I can certainly go and ask for that date from the Etobicoke Library... How are others with May 26-27? It'll be real close to rtlToronto8 but that would mean two fun Lego weekends close together! (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
