This is so difficult. :(

I've got like five different EOAT concepts here for my robot, and every time
I think I have it, I get stuck. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING.

I almost refuse to go to a two-motor setup, simply because of the difficulty
in controlling that remotely (it basically necissitates that at least one
motor be mounted on the effector, and that's not a viable option).

Grr. I'd give anything to see that tool Jeff's come up with. Bugger. :)

(...) That's where Mario and I are having trouble too. I had a dead simple mechanism that just gripped and another motor drove a small rack up to pull the piece up. I even used a flaxle to drive the gripper so I wouldn't have to weight the EOAT (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
