all lego monkey ladder

Hi everyone,

To all who are thinking about building a monkey, but just haven't got around
to buying the copper pipe and such... Heres a Lego alternative. I noticed
the round 2x2 bricks are almost exactly 5/8" (within a couple thousandths of
an inch), which is the outside diameter of the copper pipes. You can stick a
bunch of these round bricks together to get a feel for how your gripper is
going to work. This is what I did until I got my ladder built. You can also
stick a couple of beams together, and get the holes spaced pretty close to
6". Depending on how many round bricks you have, you could build a couple
rungs of a ladder. Its enough for testing purposes anyway.

Rob, the idea of an all lego ladder is GREAT!!!! I never thought about that! :) (...) Yes, and I'm doing my best to ignore this thread (sly grin) actually your one rule has point.
