Well, there are two things you can try:
1) Reduce the size of your images - 800 x 600 is usually fine, and
yields images in the 100k range rather than f.i. 1600x1200 in the 450k
range. I'm not certain your images *are* big - but a lot of people tend
to upload *huge* images. I try to resize and rotate my images before I
upload them.
2) Zip them up - the cool software at Brickshelf will unzip then and
put them all in the current directory. Saves a *lot* of
pointing-and-clicking.
