You could even add station stops that would open and close the doors
(from the outside station platform)!

| (URL) is fantastic! Back in the 70's, the French Aerotrain (air suspension high speed experimental train) reached speeds of something like 380 km/h. For a year or two in the middle of that project, they also experimented with a low-speed system (...) (16 years ago, 17-Jan-09, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
