Dateline, Chicago. The Department of Homeland Security has just reported that
a foreign national has locked himself in a store on Michigan Ave. He is
apparently making demands for something he calls "K8"'s as well as certain
length Technic beams, and he claims he will "sacrifice more hostages" if his
demands are not met. The situation is somewhat confused, as there are no other
people in the store and every time he mentions "hostages" he throws out
handfulls of minifigs, some missing limbs or heads. Police have informed LEGO,
who are willing to provide some of the Technic beams, but the police have been
unable to work out the details since the young man insists on using only some
strange units he calls "metric". Stay tuned, more details as they happen.
