Way to go! Maybe I will break with tradition when I start building... I have
some neat ideas, but I know this is going to be tough (mechanically, not
programmingly, which makes me happy:). I got a digital camera on saturday,
spent way too much, but I wanted a good one. I want to make a web page soon...

I like the hand/claw of the one "thing." The way the angled beam and
that new grey beam fit over the pipe is almost perfect.

The one thing that I forgot all about in my "concepts" is that (to quote
me)   " In Theory" these ideas are sound,  BUT i keep forgetting that I
PAY my Gravity Bill.

Thats the best thing about Lego robotics. Its not just a matter of dreaming

and so for anything any of us build we will all
have to contend with these beasts always wanting to swing to maintain a
center of gravity.

You know... My idea kind of exploits the swinging center of gravity. And
weight shouldn't be too much of a concern when I figure out the grippers, it
may actually work to my advantage.

All I can say is that its a bit more difficult that I thought. this is a (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
